Repetitive Schedules & Season Tickets

GeekTickets makes it easy to create multiple occurrences of the same event to allow your customers to select the event that suits them. This is used when you have a show or performance that repeats. For instance, you might have a matinee performance and an evening performance. This option should only be used if the event’s details (except for date and time) are exactly the same.

Repetitive Schedules

To set up a repetitive schedule, follow the instructions below:

  1. From your dashboard, click on My Events
  2. Click on Date/Time from the event menu
  3. Click the Add Repetitive Schedules switch to on
  4. Make sure the Start Date represents the FIRST occurrence of the event and it’s start time
  5. Make sure the End Date represents the LAST occurrence of the event and it’s end time.
  6. Choose a repetition type – daily, weekly or monthly – This will determine how many occurrences of this event will be created
  7. Repetition Dates – make your selection here based on the type you selected above:
    • Repetition Type: Daily – choose all days between the start and end date that this event WILL NOT repeat. In other words, the system will create occurrences of the event on every day between the start and end dates EXCEPT for the days chosen in the Repetitive Dates (Repeats Except) field.
    • Repetition Type: Weekly – choose which days of the week between the start and end date that this event WILL repeat. In other words, the system will create occurrences of the event on they days of the week between the start and end dates chosen in the Repetitive Days field.
    • Repetition Type: Monthly – choose which days of the month between the start and end date that this event WILL repeat. In other words, the system will create occurrences of the event on they days of the month between the start and end dates chosen in the Repetitive Days (repeats on) field.

Season Tickets

If you want a customer to be able to purchase a season ticket and attend any event during the repetitive schedule that they choose, Click the Season ticket switch to on.
