Using The Ticket Scanning App to Check Tickets

GeekTickets provides all organisers with access to our Ticket Scanning App to check their patrons in at the door. To learn how to create a sub-organiser and give them permission to scan tickets, visit this article.

To download the GeekTickets app, search the Apple iOS app store or the Google Play store for GeekTickets or click on the buttons below:

Once the app has been downloaded, login using the username and password given to you by your event organiser.

To scan tickets, follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the Scan icon
   
2. The scanner will open. You may be asked to grant permission to GeekTickets to access the camera on your phone. If so select Allow.
3. Bring the ticket in front of the camera and it will scan automatically.
   
4. If the ticket is valid, you will see a Verify and Check In Button
   
5. Once the customer has successfully been checked in, click Scan Another Ticket and continue
